Hello everyone!

On May 30th 2009, the USKSF North Region will be holding it's 4th Annual Chinese martial arts Tournament, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Last year our internal division events grew quite a bit and we're hoping it will grow even further this year with our new venue at the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center ( www.alliantenergycenter.com ).

We will have empty hand and weapons divisions in Taijiquan, Xingyiquan and Baguazhang. We also have the push-hands event where everyone can work on their skills with old and new friends alike.

Our Internal Division Coordinator is Paul Brennan, practitioner and teacher of Chen Style Taijiquan (under Master Zhang Xue Xing), and author of "The Art of War for Martial Artists" and "The Tao Te Ching for Christians" ( www.odosbooks.com ). We also count with the yearly participation of Shifu/teachers of Yang, Sun and Wudang styles of Taijiquan, Xingyiquan and Baguazhang.

We hope to, not only, increase the popular interest of spectators in the internal Chinese martial arts, but also foster communication, exchange and friendship amongst all practitiones and teachers.

Pre-reg due date was yesterday and it seems like we may have even more people competing in the internal divisions this year, including a Chinese UW student that has been studying Bajiquan (in Beijing), she'll not only compete but will do a demo as well... sweet!

:)
