It is Baji Quan. It is an awesome style that uses very powerful punches. While other styles may talk or daydream about killing with one punch the high level Baji people can apparently do it. They get their power from their powerful steps/stomps that transfer the power to their fists. Done wrongly this kind of stepping can be bad for ones health.

This style is also known as the Bodyguard Style as some Chinese (or/and Taiwanese) government bodyguards used to learn this system as it was regarded as very practical and deadly.

The animal influences of this style are the Bear and the Tiger. The roots training is of this system is very ardeous. Many of its practitioners also learn the softer style of Piqua Zhang to "balance out" the hardness of Baji Quan, which itself possess internal aspects.

This is one of the styles that I want to learn when I complete my Wing Chun system however finding a good Baji school is going to be very difficult (specially where I live) as it is one of the rarer styles of kung fu, but one can always dream. :)

This is apparently a clip of Baji Quan vs Karate:

Its BAJI, not Bagua.

Its BAJI, not Bagua.Proves my point! :D

My question, HW, was: was that (the baji shown in the clips) good; rather than, was that (as in baji in general) good. Though, now I come to think of it I think I've met one of these Japanese baji-istas and they could punch like a mule.

Sorry Mr Punch, I let my emphusiasm about this style get the better of me. I am not sure about this sifu's abilities as it is difficult to see from the clip provided. There are other sifus such as the late Grand Master Liu Yun Qiao who was for sure the real deal:
