I went to an 8 step praying mantis studio in Hacienda, but when I went back one day, it was gone. Does anyone know what happened to it or how I could contact Sifu James Sun?

I beat him up 3 times in a fight.

He's spread pretty thin these days. Maybe he was in SF.

It reminds me of "The never ending story" YOu didn't make a trip to Fantasia by any chance?

So you do/did learn from Grandmaster James Sun then right? Do you think he would come down to Hacienda to teach me? Could you ask him for me? Thanks.

I have a question about 8step as well. When I learned a bit from Sifu James Sun, it seemed to all be routines. So is 8 step all like self- defense? Is there and free sparring? Also, what is ground fighting? Thanks.

No I didn't learn from him, I learned from one of his disciples.

No I won't ask him for a few more days.

Yes 8 step is far more than body coordinations.

If it's fighting and it works, then you'll find it in 8 step. Lots more stuff as you get into it.

We all start with body cord. and stuff like that. It the foundation of 8 step. We do free sparring, stand-up and ground and it can be used for fighting, either street or MMA/NHB, as I do.
