im mainly impressed that such a heavy guy tried to pull that off. to bad he didnt connect.

It connected psychologically though... unsettled the guy enough that he ended up getting sidekick to the gut and a punch to the head a few seconds after the kick.

Me too. Heck I am only 200# and I can barely get off the ground for that kick. That is in my top 3 of kicks I can't do well.

i dont think big guys cant do that kick. i know several that can.

but compared to leaner guys, they are slower and telegraphed more. i think thats why big guys a lot of times stay away from maneuers like that in mma.

its a strategy thing, not a weight thing.
