Tai Chi programs in schools!?

So I was browsing around online and came across this article http://kungfuculture.net/view_toppicks.html?tid=77 Why haven't anyone thought of this before? I think it would be very educational and beneficial to open up new exercise programs; physically and mentally! Broadens knowledge regarding another culture and whips those sweaty and lazy teens in shape. They might even gain a little structure!! Every parent wants that for their kid! I've noticed that people are either loving the idea or hating it....I'm liking it! :)

Great Programs. It's happening all over the USA. Martail Arts Schools are working with their local citys and have set up programs, they are working well. Add child safety and your looking at the futureof tradional Martail Arts.

i know they have been teaching tai chi in china as part of PE in schools.

sort of wish they would have had that when i was in grade school or high school.


they just starting having mandarin chinese language classes near my area. that alone is surprising to me.
