am i allowed to emigrate to canada without hindrance due to my being from the UK ???

what are the rules on immigration there??

As far as I know, because we're still part of the common wealth, I think, you shouldn't have a problem. I'm sure relevant skills and value to the country wouldn't hurt either.

Word of advice, move to Vancouver...everything else is nice, but Vancouver is awesome! If you pick the "Peg you can come train with me...but our winter's are usually colder than Siberia.

I just saw a King of the Hill episode where a Canadian family visits Texas. I don't know if it is a repeat or not, but Canadians ae rude!!:D

A friend of mine emigrated a few years ago, and he said that while the initial phase was quite challenging and they seemed to be trying to deter him, once he'd actually got the formal process underway it was fairly straightfoward and easy.
