"it had opposable thumbs like humans and fingernails instead of claws

how many other creatures besides us have opposable thumbs?

'The Holy Grail' of evolutionary sciences.

So i guess this is a pretty big deal for evolutionists.

Pretty cool stuff.

There are other primates with opposable thumbs (thumbs which can touch every other digit on the hand or foot). Raccoons, possums and Koalas have 'em too, but this specimen had fingernails instead of claws.

Its pelvic features are what intrigue me... they say it represents a pelvis in an animal that was BEGINNING to walk upright.

If you're into evolution, check out the article in the May-June 2009 American Scientist:
"The Origin of Life: a case is made for the descent of electrons."

thats pretty neat.

the funny thing about evolution is that if we arent evolved from something, then it just shows there are other evolutionary process in the happenings that were/are trying to catch up to us humans.

because obviously evolution happens. so either we evolved from something, or something has been trying to replace us.
