Heya guys, just a notice of the upcoming Chinese martial arts tourney in Madison on May 30th. Of particular interest for southern chinese martial arts practitioners would be the

- open bridging hands competition (this is not wing chun chi sao and is open to any system/style, though it uses mainland style rolling. Last year's winner was a Jook Lum Mantis practitioner)

full contact weapons divisions (this includes a "double southern knives" division, and the video is an example of a Hung ga vs. Wing Chun practitioners match):

There is also of course full contact lei tai (takedowns allowed)

Might I ask a few simple questions, such as the hour which it will be held, as well as general requirements for competing?

For which event are you asking?

Regardless, all the rules, etc. are available at the previously mentioned http://www.usksfnorth.org/
