I always thought it was so funny and stupid when everyone called him Chinaman in the tv show but he wasn't even remotely Chinese, actually just a white guy squinting...almost like he was making fun of Chinese people...

yes.

somehow, people tend to think of him as half irish and half chinese.

b/c tv series kung fu in 1970s and kung fu the legend continues in 1990's.

from his clip of visit to shao lin si in 2005.

he had his fun of touching the base with china and shao lin si.

when the abbot gave him the monk robe with cotton lining/almost like a blanket

the big smile from DC was priceless, genuine and timeless.

the same smile on the screen when he was young.

we will miss him.

he definately served as a cultural ambassador on the screen.

remembered by many

or

he continued to live on the screen and in the hearts of many viewers and fans including me.
