can not quite comment without more info.

1. vid 1.

if the fat dude is really a government official, he has to be very careful. Child molestation would end his political career quickly.

apology, and pay some money and also seek physcology councilling.

the young girl did the right thing, run away fast and inform parents or police.

2. vid 2

it is not safe to have 2 year old sitting on the motorbike. even if you have a helmet on, it is just not safe to have youngster on a motorbike.

lollipop or even pacifiyer is way better than nicotine and tar

talking about asthma, emphysema

talking about poisoning your child early on in life.

Do you think they will ever regress and go back to days of revolution or are they and N.Korea just going to get bored and play nice like Tokyo with the awesome video games and elvis dancing?.:D

1. North Korea is still a closed society.

more opening is better. South Korea has to take the iniative.

from cultural, economic, technology, medicine etc first

political change in the north will come with time.

2. China is more open in many areas, however, politically, it is still very "closed".

coastal cities are very well developed. universities are closer to the west

however, the countryside and the great west are still very backward.

--

many graduates of chinese universities are not able to land a job in the cities, since they are full or filled.

so the Chinese government is sending them to be public officials in the country side.

more than 90% of Chinese population are in the countryside.

farmers are not educated at university levels.

so the university grads go to the country side and lead.

this is a good trend to "modernize" the countryside or bring the countryside to the 21 century.

--

they are paying more attention to technology, environment, modern farming, infrastructure, etc

--

Mao era was gone.

Post Deng era is more moderate in everything.

1. Mao's time;

it is a upside down society. the workers and farmers or the have not rule the country.

it is good theory to have a revolution or to seize power, since there are more workers and farmers than other "class" of people. you ask them to rise up.

--

however, it is not a good theory or practice to run a country once you have the power.

you still need the educated or "cultured" few to run the country b/c they know how.

--

1966-1976 cutural revolution was the darkest time in Chinese history like ever.

not only books were burned, schools closed--

the prefessors had to go to the country side to learn farming or the values of hard labor from the farmers which are the now ruling class.

--

some farmers and workers were in the political key positions from local government all the way to the central government, they did not how to run a country or even write a speech or report. they were in key positions because they were of the farmer and worker classes. they had to rely on educated secretary to help them.

--

2. Deng and post Deng era

1. whatever works works. let the people has the expertise to do his or her job.
schools and universities re opened, China had a lot to catch up. students going abroad.

2. coastal cities are open to western capital and technology.

3.--

the rest is history.

this is not the place to discuss politics and history

but in short

1. great leap forward.

a. farmers reported exaggerated production, so the government took the rices/produces.

million's farmer died of starvation.

b. hunted sparrows, so that they would not eat grains or take away production,
diminished sparrow population increased insect population which in turn ate away more grains and produces.

c. collected all tools and cooking wares and melted them into useless "steels".

farmers were out of tools and cooking wares, farmers became tooless and potless.

--

on and on.

the revolution was supposed to help farmers to live a better life?
