I'll probably merge this with the OT: RIP Michael Jackson (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54305) later, but it should definitely here.

VANCOUVER - Michael Jackson's secret love revealed

He loved to dance; we all knew that. He loved to sing; that's pretty clear. He may well have loved children in ways innocent or not; that's been an issue for the courts. He loved Lisa Marie Presley, right there on stage, in one of the ickiest kisses in TV history. But what was his secret love? What was the love so hidden from the world that he only enjoyed it while wearing a burka?

As it turns out, the recently deceased pop legend was a closet fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Yes, the king of pop was into mixed martial arts, even to the point where he turned up to a live UFC event and watched from ringside... while sitting in a wheelchair and wearing a black hoody, sunglasses, and a burka.

The event was UFC 84 and it took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The dainty Jackson was wheeled in through the crowd and sat quietly behind his security detail, looking on as Lyoto Machida beat former light heavyweight world champ Tito Ortiz, and lightweight champ BJ Penn picked apart former champ Sean Sherk.

“He was a fan and he watched the UFC pay-per-views and he was into it,” said chairman and CEO of the UFC Lorenzo Fertitta after news of the singer's death came to hand.

MMA blogger Tom Ngo of 5thRound.com recalls spotting the strange figure in the crowd on that night in a post on his website.

"After unsuccessfully trying to get an interview with UFC lightweight Roger Huerta (only because the groupie train decided to roll through and cling to him like spandex), I rushed back to my chair because the next bout was about to start. As I took the VIP entrance back, I noticed that 'someone' in a wheelchair was holding up the line. Not only do I remember thinking to myself, ‘Could you PLEASE hurry up, I’m gonna miss the next fight,’ but I also recall thinking, ‘That’s so cool that this dude in a wheelchair got such great seats!’"

well i do remember seeing something or reading something that he was in fact a gay man. accounts of the young men he would spend time with and sleep with. supposedly the guy was in love with at least one young man.

maybe he had a thing with one of the fighters that night.
