this is for everyone interested in showing support for raymond chow, and the san francisco chinatown community in a peaceful protest on the steps of city hall on friday july 24th, 2009 from 10:30-12:00.
raymond chow and various members of the community are gathering to discuss the recent issues of the cancellation of the chinatown night market, and the recent rumors spread by supervisor's president david chiu in which he is quoted in saying "everyone is afraid of raymond chow".......this comment is unfounded and needs an explanation, and raymond chow wants his apology. Not only for him, but for the entire ghee kung tong, the very same one that supervisor david chiu issued a certificate of honor to in march of 2009. When asked about this, supervisor david chiu is quoted in saying "if my office knew then what we know, we would not have made the proclamation."
towards the end of the rally, there will be a time for question and answers. Anyone with questions are encouraged to show up and ask raymond chow personally.
