You find these same moves in Jujitsu and Aikido.

there are only so many ways you can bend and twist a joint. I have studied Hapkido, Jiu-Jutsu, and cum-na (chin na) they are basically the same, although my Sifu's dim yuet cum na is based on striking vital points combined with the locking and breaking. He is a Dit-Da doctor, so his art is based on this. This would be similar to atemi-waza in Jiu-Jutsu and Aikijutsu.

The anti counters are the impetus for redirection! Most teaching appers to rely on the applications for compliant training but they would rarely work!
I saw a few xing-i patterns that fit perfectly with execution and throwing of the assailant!
