I know Ji Nin gim or noon time sword and our version of eight immortals gim. Both of them I'm not crazy about so I have been picking up other style of gim like those from Lama Pai and Eagle Claw. None of which I remeber rifht now, but do have on tape some where.

I couldn't help but notice that you also practice the kun wu jian. From what lineage did you study it from? As for myself, I have just begun my training in kun wu jian about three weeks ago. Our kun wu jian comes from Zhang Xiang Wu (after Li Shu Wen modified it with more Fa Jing) to Grandmaster Liu Yun Qiao, then to my sifu, Kurt Wong. There are two routines in our kun wu jian: yi lu and er lu. Yi lu contains slow movements and concentrated on developing internal energy. Er lu (the set that Li Shu Wen created) contains more Fa Jing. The movements are done much faster and stresses applications.

On Preying Mantis Jian, I believe Sifu Yang Xiao Dong, from Ohio, teaches it. RAF is the best person to ask on the forum about this. Hope this helps.
