I must confess, we had a trick question for this particular contest. We put the question in there as a spambot filter. Also, we tailor the question towards something a martial artist can answer. Whenever a sweepstakes goes up on the web, it gets picked up and forwarded (which is what we want - more traffic). However, we also hope our loyal fans (meaning martial arts enthusiasts) will win. For this contest, the question was "What does Dexter have to do with Kung Fu?" The answer? Nothing at all really. It was just a nice prize. The approximate retail value (ARV) of this prize package is estimated at $42.99 USD (SRP) - that's a nicer prize than we usually get to provide here. Dexter was offered by the same promotional group doing Fighting (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showpost.php?p=955796&postcount=26), and we didn't have any other promotions at that time, so we took it. The amusing thing is how many people came up with exactly the same answer - a wrong answer - but the exactly same. That's the power viral marketing for you. There was also a lot of "pet's name" "mother's maiden name" answers, but there's always a lot of those.
