his Book, "The Making of a Butterfly" is an excellent read. I just finished his book on Martial Mechanics, and he really breaks down into understandable terms, things that I have been trying to convey to my students for years.
Plus, his lighthearted, down to Earth demeanor makes his work very enjoyable.
If he comes my way, I will be sure and catch whatever seminar he is teaching.

I am currently a green sash under Sifu in Omaha, NE. and can tell you first hand that Yiliquan is the real deal. I've met and trained with a few Yili seniors and they are among the best martial artists out there. The system heavily stresses the realization and integration of principles and is incredibly powerful. Sifu Starr is very personable and has become like a father to me. I have yet to leave a class not drenched in sweat and will miss him while he is in Europe.

All The Best,
Chris

I guess I was beng a bit naughty with the thread, as I was trying to advertise the seminars in the UK & Ireland)

Get in touch if you want to attend.

Read Sifu Starr's books if you can't
