I have just recently begun studying Northern style Praying Mantis and have learned that the main weapon for the mantis is Chin Na. Seizing, locking, breaking, and taking the person down are all included in this. I was wondering if anyone has come across the use of Chin Na specifically in the Mantis. It seems only natural given the hooking and grabing that the mantis does. I'm having a hard time finding any sites that focus on this. Any info would be appreciated.

Indeed with entry methods such as the Au-Lau-Choi and Qua, it really makes Chin Na techs. much more a natural choice.

There are very few such sites available for whatever reason. Here's one test site in the works from yours truely. It features my Sigung the late Grandmaster Chiu Chuk Kai of Taiji (Tai Chi) Praying Mantis.

Enjoy.

Was wondering if you train with Greg Fong, Anthony Clark or any of their students, sifus.Or someone else? Anyway, how would a person get to train with your teacher?
