Why can't I turn on the news this weekend without hearing about Tiger Woods.

Why did he wreck his car? Why was he out at 2AM? "Why won't he talk to the cops?"............

Personally I could not give a S! The life of a rich Ahole who walks around with his nose in the air does not interest me.

Maybe his wife found out about another woman and beat him up, then he staged an accident to account for the injuries....or not.;)

He has a trophy wife...so what?

If the stories are correct then she got mad because he was dating other women. I'm just wondering what she expected. She got what she was after. She should not complain.

If I was worth a bluebillion dollars I'd probably have the same arrangement!:D

In any case, If neither of these people are talking and no one saw anything then why are the police still investigating? They should just go ahead and charge him with wreckless driving or driving under the influence of prescription drugs and be done with it.

Funny though how many of these people who have money to burn seem to be taking some sort of medication.

The police got involved because he hit a fire hydrant (Government property) and a neighbor's tree (someone else's private property). While those are not felonies, the police had to investigate the incident.

heard this account of the Tiger incident:
Tiger's wife confronted him about the affair and scratched his face and went off on him. He got into the SUV to leave and she hit the SUV with the golf club.
He got out of the SUV to check out the damage and forgot to put it in park and it hit the tree.
This may be true because the cops photos show that the airbag didn't go off.
Many cars have sensors now to prevent costly airbag replacement when there isn't a passenger in the seat.

I don't think it was this simple. First of all, the front of his car was smashed in and the police say he was driving at least 30 mph.

http://www.wftv.com/news/21797811/detail.html

The neighbors said Tiger Woods' wife Elin did not really speak to them, so they never heard her story about smashing his windows with a golf club to rescue him. When they got there, he was on the ground.

"When you came out, where did you see Mr. Woods, uh, laying out?" the FHP investigator asked Jarius.

“I believe he was already situated, uh, on the ground when I got out there. ... I believe on the passenger [side],” Jarius Adams told the FHP investigator.

"And was he conscious, unconscious?" the investigators asked.

“At that point he was snoring. He was actually snoring," Jarius replied.

So, he was out cold.

Here is a diagram:

http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21789476/detail.html

The final accident report shows Woods didn't just hit a fire hydrant and tree.

Upon leaving his driveway, Woods' vehicle rubbed up against a line of bushes, crossed over a curb, onto a grass median and into a row of hedges before swerving left into the hydrant and crashing into the tree, an illustration in the report shows (view crash diagram). Woods' vehicle was traveling 30 mph in a 25 mph zone. Damage to the SUV was estimated at $8,000

Finally someone with a little sense:

I loved what Jack Nicklaus said today..."none of my dam business".

That the correct response when a gentleman of class is asked to comment on someone else.....someone with no class.

I love the talking heads on TV......."His popularity has went down", "Sponsors are running for cover"......:D

Truth is, if Woods never makes another dime in his entire life he has more money than he will ever spend.

For years now on the tour Woods has separated himself from the people he plays with. He simply won't have anything to do with his peers. As far as the press goes if you publish something he doesn't like(and almost everyone covering the tour at one time or the other has pised him off) he will cut you off.

Ask any psychologist. A man is bored or tired enough with his own wife to sleep with almost a dozen other women and somehow you are going to fix the problem by making him spend more time with his wife? Doesn't work.

Kids don't matter. They are millions of couples who have stayed together for "the kids". It's not good for anybody.

When you are away from home more than you are at home, the problem becomes lack of connection to the family. If he wants to save the marraige, he's doing exactly what he needs to: reconnecting.

If you think two people who hate each other need to stay together because of their kids then you are living in some sort of Ozzie and Harriet, Leave It To Beaver fantasy world. This is not the 50s or have you not looked at the calender lately. You're the one that's dense here. I actually live in the 21th century. Which one do you live in?

Also, who ever said Woods spends more time away from home then at home? Especially in the last year when he did not play any golf tourneys for eight months. Even when he does he only plays about half the tour.

a lot of people think he should get divorced, from what ive seen and read. many of these are people with education in that particular field, so have a bit of professional experience.

personally i dont really give a ****, tiger woods can go jump off a cliff for all i care about the guy.

BUT i tend to agree in the sense that the guy obviously wants to be single. has been living as though hes single. and if you ask me, that much infidelity....well was he ever TRULY married? in the emotional and religious sense? doesnt seem like it to me. the guy has been married for only 5 years and has had that many affairs that we KNOW of? please, he aint no married man. he doesnt get it.

how many 'deadly sins' did that guy rack up with this adventure?

it seems to all have been for appearances. like a trophy family

but really, it all boils down to what the man truly wants. if hes trying to fix his marriage because WE want him to. thats for the wrong reason. if he truly wants to try and fix his marriage then he should. but hes only half. it really all depends on what his wife wants. balls in her court IMO...or would that be, on her green ? lol

but he should stop acting like hes a victim.

Here's an example of a pro sports person who decided to spend more time to try to "fix" his relationship:

"Nobody worked harder to rehabilitate his image than Chris," Simms said. "He realized he made mistakes and made positive changes to his life. As a result of these changes, he had become a man that all Bengals, and [the] NFL, fans could be proud of."

Henry indeed changed his personal life, spending more time with his fiancee and the children they are raising. Teammates noticed a pronounced change in his demeanor

That was Chris Henry.

By the way he's dead today after jumping into the back of a truck being driven by his women. Somehow he just fell out! Accidents happen I guess. And funny thing, apparently his girl didn't even see him fall out. She kept driving and left him on the side of the road.

Yep! that extra time sure did work here!

You're not like any liberal in my circle of friends.

We know that the vast majority of unemployed people would do anything for a job to support their family. We don't view people who are having a hard time finding a job as some sort of freeloader who doesn't deserve to be in our society.

Take your "liberal" ass home and spend more time with your wife and kids. Maybe it will do you as much good as it has done Woods and Henry!:D

Yeah, I'm fairly certain I'm not like your circle friends. I paid for my own education by putting siding on houses in 100 degree temperatures in the summer. I've worked fulltime since I got out of college in 1995, contributing the tax dollars to the government needed to help those I believe need help.

I'm pro-choice. I'm pro gay marriage. I want to see better environmental protections in place. I'm for tighter gun control. I don't believe religious artifacts should be anywhere near a publicly funded institutions. I don't mind paying higher taxes if it means social services are in place to help the needy. I think most drug laws should be abolished. And I think the free market needs government guidance in some cases, especially in health care.

But if no one pays into the system to support the infrastructure, the system cannot take care of those who really need support. Therefore, it is your DUTY as an American and a liberal to work hard, to pay taxes, and to contribute financially to the community so that those less fortunate, with less opportunity, can expect a decent standard of living.

If you can't work, the system should help you.

If you won't work, you are a leach and burden on your community.

Though we disagree on many political issues, this makes sense. Very well said, and at least you do contribute to the system. Which is more than someone like BD, who looks at the system as his personal free ride through life.

Really? Where your proof that I've ever taken a penny from the government?

Not that I would hesitate doing so. I believe the richest nation on earth should care for it citizens.

Truth is people such as yourself and your friend prefer a situation similar to ones we had in the great depression. It makes you feel superior to see people starving and kids dying.

Of course I expect noting less after years of listening to Limby, Coulter and others!

You receive the benefits that poeple's income taxes pay for, and you are not paying those taxes. You get benefits from the EPA, FDA, the military, etc and you are not contributing to them. Unlike people like me, Drake, and MasterKiller who are paying alot of our hard earned money in income taxes.

Of course you wouldn;t hesitate to do so. You've been whining for quite some time about wanting Government healthcare, which in your case would be free for you as you are not working.

And yet again, can you show where the Constitution says that this nation should care for its citizens in a fiscal way?

Actually, I'd prefer a time like the mid-late 80s. Low taxes, low unemployment, strong military, roaring economy, etc.

It doesn't make me feel superior. Although I do notice that I've not had children I cant support, or bought a house I couldn't afford, or ran up tens of thousands in credit card debt I couldn't pay. So I guess in that respect, I am superior in intellect to alot of Americans. ;)

What's so wrong with you taking care of you and yours, and me taking care of me and mine?

Here's we know again. Just heard that Woods was on TV apologizing for "Letting us down"

The total arrogance of this guy. I don't even know him. How was he suppose to "let me down"?

Did anyone see this? Did he squeeze out a tear or two and talk about how he was going to work to improve himself?......:D Then after that did he talk about how, through all the pain and suffering, he was going to try to play the Masters this year.

Watched a little of that on CNN.

Once again the arrogance! He hurt himself far more by doing this. Notice wifey was not there...also noticed no one from the media was allowed to ask questions.
