Just a question to the Lama practitioners here. Do you have any info or knowledge about karate/jujutsu/judo/freestyle/Lama Kung fu teacher Malcolm Lomax?

Just curious - many thanks.

Might be a Lo Wai Keung student (says he learned in hong kong), BUT the fact he avoids naming his teachers is always a bad sign

here's (http://www.sanchikai.com/page9.html) a shot w/him and LWK from the site, so you would appear to have qi-blasted the correct in regards to his lineage

when these types of shots are taken, is it not a common practice for teacher to either open or cross the legs signifying what he has taught?

so, with this bunch, it appears they haven't been given anything of real value from the teacher seeing as the teachers legs are not only closed, but crossed generally signifying he has yet to find a student that he wishes to impart his full knowledge to.

or on the other hand he could be more modern and that has no meaning in context to the photo. :)

just an observation. does it apply here I wonder?

lol. not actually a theory dave.

I have been told this explicitly by a couple of different sifu now that it is a common practice among kungfu teachers to do this particularly with baisi shots.

I never really paid that much attention to that stuff when I was told that ( legs crossed or open) years ago when I was doing Hung Kuen in Toronto's Chinatown.
I just that someone was pulling my leg like they did to me and the only other white guy there, LOL !

I don't know either, I left and went elsewhere and my current HK Sifu and his brother (SPM) are both "retired" from commercial teaching.
