Martial artist and actor Bruce Lee is a legend who popularized the action movies which focused on real action rather than Hollywood fiction. Though his career was cut short by a tragic accident his legacy still lives on till this day. One of the most famous movies which starred Bruce Lee was Enter the Dragon in which he showcased his fighting skills and also it was the last movie that featured Lee as he passed away before the release of the film.

Nike Zoom Kobe V pays homage to the fallen star with the Bruce Lee edition sneaker taking inspiration from the most iconic colors of Bruce Lee. The yellow and black colorways are taken directly from the jumpsuit that Lee wore in the 1978 film “The Game of Death” and it is translated on the Laker’s yellow upper, laces and midsole with black accents and Swoosh. Another graphic symbol Lee is known for is the four blood red claw marks that signify the damage he took in the 1973 film “Enter The Dragon” and that is reflected on the side of the toe section and in the red color on the heel. These are part of the Spring/Summer 2010 collection set for global release and have been recently launched.

'Despite its progressive image in the United States, Nike is a very different company in Vietnam and in other Asian manufacturing operations. Reports of physical abuse, sexual abuse, salary below minimum wage and a debilitating quota systems are confirmed by CBS News, the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, AP, Reuters as well as other non-profit and non-governmental organizations.'

boycott nike (http://www.viet.net/~nike/)

;)

oh ya:

Boycott blood diamonds! (http://campus.murraystate.edu/academic/faculty/kevin.binfield/BloodDiamonds.html)

Have you heard about the Blood Diamond™?
A diamond is forever.
A child's arm hacked off at the elbow will never grow back.

She will never wear a ring on that hand.

Diamonds cost more than money.

Forever.

I'll certainly post something if I hear anything, but this one came from MK and was news to me until I read it. Hopefully we can all keep each other updated on such important matters.

I like soles that aren't so thick... i.e. rotated ankle injury.
