I think you should definatly take advantage of any kind of training that will enhance your abilities. Iron palm can improve your internal concentration along with many understandings of chi flow and proper excecution of striking techniques. I warn you that iron training takes discipline and hard work it has to be done on a daily basis and takes up to a year of proper application to start to become effective, so if you cant put the time into it I suggest you dont start, but if ou have the time and will go for it!

earth, question for you: do all systems of iron hand training have forms?? i know about the external training, but as i spoke to the teacher and he informed me, that there are also 3 forms that go along with the training, is that true?? and what are the names of the forms??

thanks

I am not totally sure, every style if different so its hard to generalize iron palm styles all together. Thats like saying how many forms does kung fu have!
