Well, at least partially !!! :D Great interview.

From the article
What is your opinion on traditional Martial Arts in real fighting situations?
Karate works. Also Boxing, Wrestling, bits of Wing Chun and Silat. I use bits and pieces of things - I don’t use any particular style. I love to create and combine the arts to form something that works.
Yeap, that's a solid endorsement. I'll bet the bits he likes to use have to do with getting your chi to rise.

Actually I have a training vid of Josh Barnett's entitled "ATTACKING THE GUARD" (and Erik Paulson makes an appearance) wherein Josh (taught by Erik) demos using wing chun trapping/hitting while in someone's guard.
Not bad. Not bad at all!
But I suspect that Paulson uses/teaches more wing chun then just what Josh demoed in that scenario.

I particularly like this part of the interview:

The fact that Eric echos what most Ma that fight actually say, speaks volumes.
The again he learned from Inosanto, enough said.

Erik did study WCK under my friend, Jacques MoraMarco, who studied with Augustine Fong.
If you consider what he learned and practiced and his experience in the ring, he would naturally use what he has developed.

But."
And, i think i am right, Dale once said the same thing when asked about what bits of wing chun he still uses
paulson is a great trainer and like his once teacher Inosanto never has a bad word to say about anything, a class act
