How beneficial / worthwile would this seminar be for someone with no bjj experience?

The Ground Proofing is essential for ANY martial artist that has little, to no experience on the ground. Basically it is how to escape common holds / pins one may encounter in self defense situations and get back to their feet safely.
And the BJJ seminar will not be super advanced, as most attendee's will be white belt, with a few blue mixed in.

Hey! You can do it Lucas. I signed up and told my hubby that it was his present to me for my 49th birthday. There were no other women in my class. Thank goodness a guy who was at least close to my age tagged me to be his partner. The class size was small, which was a blessing because we were able to get more individual instruction. By the end of the two days, my partner and I were able to execute every move they showed us and neither of us had previous bjj experience.

Our seminar was groundproofing and stand up grappling from a self defense (not sport) perspective, which I greatly appreciated. But to choke and be choked out...what a blast! Plus, I got to throw Jake around!:D

Throwing Jake around is well worth any price! Maybe that is how we should advertise these events from now on!? There are plenty on line who would love the chance to throw me through the floor:D

You may want to contact Michael (guy who is hosting the seminar) just to make sure, but that sounds good to me.

I've always been a fan of his. If he'd ever come to the East Coast I'd be there for sure. I'm never to old to learn something.

He often comes to NY. And really, you should make it to the west coast too!
