Is there anyone out there who is familiar with Shaolin Master Zhang Jun (少林寺武术教练张军)?

Perhaps you are a fan, have a fan website, or know something about his story?

If so, please get in contact with me. We will be the USA distributors of some products which he is endorsing (Sports Injury patches and sprays made with official Henan Shaolin Temple Herbal formulas), so I am creating a page (http://www.fbshealth.com/zhang_jun.php) dedicated to him on my website.

I am looking for contributors to this page, and for other fan sites that we can link to.

If I use any of your contributions, I will send you a free sample of this product.

FYI, if you think your Gymnasium, Martial Arts school or Sports Injury clinic might like to carry this product, please contact me.

But we'll let that pass for now and move this to the Shaolin forum where it might actually get some feedback.

Here's our advertising information (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/about/advertise.php), for your future reference. If you really want to promote your product, contact me before this Thursday; I have an interesting opportunity for you. ;)

Sorry, Gene, but I didn't see your follow-up post until now (and 新年好!)

Yes, we are interested in promoting our product. Primarily to distributors. Maybe we should get in touch.

But I honestly would like to make a connection with some Shaolin fans and post their materials up on the website. Unfortunately, I've found that Zhang Jun is not as well known outside China, but hopefully we can change that. I'm going to be posting some photos and footage of him soon.

I think we will even post the whole commercial for the product up there, which has some archival footage of the temple, how they made their medicines and etc. As well as Master Zhang Jun working out. Of course, its in Chinese... :)

Oh, here's a photo of the medical dispensary at the Northern Shaolin Temple in Henan. The actual temple has been turned into a tourist attraction by the authorities, but the Shaolin are still practicing on the top of a nearby mountain. I didn't make it up there this trip (did I mention it was cold? Hey, I'm no Shaolin!), but I can maybe post some photos of the area later if anyone is interested.

In case you cannot read Chinese, this means "long life". Ironically, it is in their cemetary.

Again, if anyone is interested in submitting any fan materials, we'd like to have them, and we will give you a free sample if we use your contribution!

As promised, I posted a short clip (http://www.fbshealth.com/zhang_jun_commercial.php) on my website which has Zhang Jun, some archival footage of the Northern Shaolin Temple and some Shaolin monks working out.
