Rockport Police/Fire: 'Martial arts specialist ninja' arrested (http://www.gloucestertimes.com/punews/local_story_097224514.html)
By Jonathan L'Ecuyer
Staff Writer

ROCKPORT — A self-described "martial arts specialist ninja" was arrested by police Tuesday after a motor-vehicle stop.

According to police, a vehicle driven by Kadia J. Barenbaum, of 294 Memoe Road, Leicester, Vt., was pulled over at 3:14 a.m. Tuesday after he failed to stop on Railroad Avenue before turning right on Main Street.

A check of his record revealed Barenbaum's driver's license was not valid, police said.

Police took an inventory of the vehicle after noticing a switchblade in the center console, within Barenbaum's reach. As a result of the search, police found double-edged knives, a double-edged hatchet, metallic knuckles, and a bag with 10 wooden "fighting" sticks.

Barenbaum claimed to be a "martial arts specialist ninja," police said.

The 50-year-old was charged with four counts of carrying a dangerous weapon, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop, and speeding.

His vehicle was towed following his arrest.

Barenbaum was arraigned Tuesday morning in Gloucester District Court and released on personal recognizance, police said. He was later found walking barefoot down Nugent Stretch yelling at cars and was told by police to stop and leave the area.

More evangelists too. And the article is by someone named Evangelista. Maybe it's really a ninja name in disguise...;)

More ninjas, evangelists at work as gurus drop out (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/04/09/BU541CRQ7N.DTL)

There's a growing trend of professional "ninjas" being hired around the world and it has nothing to do with covert agents trained in Japanese martial arts.

It's one of the hot new titles that LinkedIn Corp., the Mountain View social network aimed at professionals, has noticed emerging in the workplace.

There are ninjas for social media, software programming, design, customer service, advertising and finance, LinkedIn data scientist Monica Rogati said in a blog post.

It's a creative title to signify a higher level of expertise in whatever field the ninjas are in. As an example, Rogati linked to an employee of a venture capital firm whose title is "investing ninja assassin."

Rogati said another title that has taken off since 2002 is "evangelist," used in a nonreligious sense for someone who has the job of spreading the good word about a company.

This one's not exactly new - Apple fans will remember when Guy Kawasaki was the computer maker's "software evangelist" in the 1980s, and later promoted to "chief evangelist" in the 1990s. Given Apple's overwhelming success in this decade, it figures that other companies are trying to find their own evangelists.

Also, the title of "guru" began to rise in 2002, but has declined since 2008, Rogati said. Perhaps in the recession, companies found that few of the gurus were able to live up to the title.

Whoever made that video really wanted to find something that is not there. I love their comment about how Osama let his eyes grow thicker for four years before he came out of hiding and took on his Obama persona. Like Osama plucked his eyebrows to begin with or that eyebrows have unlimited growth potential like hair.

It's sad, really.

If I were a ninja, I would probably go around kicking stupid people sharply in the balls so that they could not have children.

I think that gust of wind just kicked me in the balls!
