I'm new to Kung fu and have been doin it for a couple months. Im a student-athlete, who wants to kickbox, but there are no gyms that do kickboxing, where I am at school. There is a guy that teaches animal style kung fu, that i know. He says that it will help my kickboxing out. I dnt feel like i'm getting anywhere, n kung fu seems a lil harder to understand than other arts ive learned in the past. Especially if ur class is only once a week for six hours, and ur learning techniques on some wooden contraption thing...

If you are still in Atlanta, then there are lots of options. Bottom line, if you want to kickbox, I dont believe your kung fu training will improve your skills in the ring as quickly as youd like. If you want other options, feel free to PM me here for some options in Atlanta. And if youre ever up for the drive (about 3 hours), you should swing by Huntsville and check out what we have going on...
