TMZ has learned former UFC champ Tito Ortiz and baby mama/former porn star Jenna Jameson are withdrawing allegations that led to Tito's felony domestic violence arrest earlier this week.

Jenna, who accused Tito of injuring her during an argument, now tells TMZ, "What actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in." Translation -- he didn't hurt me.

As for Tito, we're told he's now backing off what he strongly insinuated ... that Jenna is an OxyContin addict. We're told Tito's position now is that he found two OxyContin pills and may have jumped to conclusions. Jenna says the pills were very old. And, as we first reported, Jenna tested negative for drugs this week.

Tito's lawyer, Chip Matthews, tells TMZ the whole thing was "a big misunderstanding."

One more thing ... Sources say Tito stands to lose $15 million if he's prosecuted for domestic violence -- the money accounts for his UFC contract as well as other businesses.

TMZ has obtained a photo of Tito Ortiz sitting behind bars at a Huntington Beach jail -- right after he was arrested for allegedly beating up Jenna Jameson.

Ortiz was arrested early this morning for felony domestic violence -- he has since been released after posting bail.

Picture of UFC fighter Tito Ortiz in jail was not meant to appear on TMZ, official says.

The Huntington Beach Police Department is looking into an unauthorized photograph of UFC fighter Tito Ortiz in jail leaked to a celebrity-gossip website.

The photograph, taken of a video monitor, shows Ortiz sitting in the Huntington Beach Jail, said Lt. Russell Reinhart.

TMZ, a celebrity-gossip news website, obtained the photograph and posted it Monday evening.

Reinhart said the department is holding an internal investigation into the matter.

“The employee who took it was not authorized to release it to anyone,” Reinhart said in an e-mail. “This is being handled as an internal personnel matter, and we cannot comment further.”

Jacob Christopher “Tito” Ortiz, 35, was arrested just before noon in the house he shares with former porn star Jenna Jameson in Huntington Beach.

Police were called by the victim’s father at 9:53 a.m. Monday over a possible domestic dispute at Ortiz and Jameson’s house in the 16700 block of Baruna Lane, officials said.

Ortiz was arrested just before noon on suspicion of domestic violence.

He was booked into the Huntington Beach Jail and released the same day on $25,000 bail.

Officials couldn’t confirm if Jameson was involved in the dispute, but she told TMZ Ortiz had never hit her before and said she will press charges Monday.

“I was completely shocked,” she told TMZ Monday. “Tito is a loving, sweet man and I’ve always supported him through everything, and for him to lash out at me like this is shocking and I feel completely betrayed — completely betrayed.”

Ortiz, known as the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy,” is a former UFC champion. He grew up in Huntington Beach, beginning his wrestling career at Huntington Beach High School and winning a state junior college title in wrestling at Golden West College.

He has not been charged by the Orange County District Attorney.
