Well, the external guys have a Legends 2010 thread and they're off'n running.

Any internal folks - besides me - going to Dallas next month?????? It's coming down at us like a freight train...

Well, unfortunately, I won't be going this year. My daughter has a "thing" to do in town and at least I have my priorities straight...more important to me to be Dad instead of judge.

Ummmm... and I was gonna come by your table and introduce myself....

Congrats on the Dad stuff! My grands are getting to that age and it can be a challenge to keep up with them. With boys it was always games and practices, but now that they're old enough for girls... I know exactly what you're talking about! Shudder.... the oldest one will be driving soon...

I may go. It's been years since I've been to one, despite the fact that they are pretty much a hop, skip and jump away from my place.

We'll all be standin' around in groups waiting our turn to be called. Come on over and introduce yourself... why should you not compete????

Well Taiji Legacy is something that doesn't happen often. By often I mean there aren't huge competitions for martial arts that draw thousands of spectators, hundreds of competitors and however many masters of their art together. I know it is once a year but it isn't like every 3 months something like this happens.

So yes, stickying it was something I felt needed. Plus it reminds me I have to try and make time to go.

Hello Phil;

Thanks! Absolutely not complaining at all, just amazed.....

If you come, introduce yourself!!!

Personally, I'm signed up for so many workshops that it's hard to think of the competition... go figure....

All you budding cover-article writers signed up to take Gene's Friday afternoon workshop; he's talking about setting it back 'til later... maybe 7:00 pm....

Of course, you saw it over on his other thread, didn't you....

Patty made the change - see the workshop listings (http://www.legendsofkungfu.com/seminars.html#geneching). Unfortunately, my flight didn't come in early enough for the original time, thus the modification.

Will do Gene; see you there....

Frankly... getting a chance to eat first is sounding good to me. This may be the only time I take workshops all day long the day before the competition...

I've packed my got 氣 shirt (http://www.martialartsmart.com/95-036chn.html), but I'll probably wear it Sunday.

Hope some more of you can join us at Twin Peaks on Friday. See the main thread for more info. (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56851&page=4)
