Y'all have been good today. Have a donut.
Hole-y snack attack! Today is National Donut Day - get a free donut near you (http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/food/2010/06/04/2010-06-04_holey_snack_attack_today_is_national_donut_day_ _get_a_free_donut_near_you.html)

Time to make the donuts! Some chains are offering free treats to celebrate National Donut Day.
Need an excuse to sate a sweet tooth? Today is National Donut Day, and you can get a free one at participating Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts (where you have to buy a drink in order to get the deal).
And while you’re sipping your coffee and eating your cruller, consider some doughnut trivia: National Donut Day was started in 1938 by the Salvation Army as a way to honor the women who had served doughnuts to World War I soldiers, according to KSDK.com. Though it was thought of as a fund-raiser back in the Depression, it’s morphed into an occasion to revel in those filled, frosted and sprinkled treats with a round hole in the center.
The world record for doughnut eating is held by a sweet tooth named Eric Badlands Booker. In just eight minutes, he downed 49 doughnuts.
Canada has the most doughnut shops per capita in the world, but we’re big doughnut fans, too. Every year, Americans devour more than 10 billion doughnuts.
