That was a great find Frank, he reminds me of the clips I have seen of GM Lam and of my own HK Sifu.
How old was he in 87?
Great speed, power, old school "hard", know what I mean?

is that a young DFW in the backround? I know that was his Sifu. His Tai Chi was supposedly very high caliber as well.

yeah right!!!! it even made me wonder about Prof. Lau Bun.

He is both Chan Fam and Hung Sing, but is one of those that fought the german boxers in HK.

Grand Master Hu Yuen Chou was first a disciple of Chan Ngau Sing of the Fut San Hung Sing Kwoon. He later studied under Chan Yiu Chi i think.....That is the reason i can see both Chan Fam and Hung Sing in his movement. but man, his horse is strong.

After Chan Ngau Sing passed away Hu Yuen Chou was a one time manager of the Fut San Hung Sing Kwoon. wow, im not even sure is there was an official successor of Chan Ngau Sing come to think of it. i do believe many wanted the position, but they were going through a few different people as the new head master.

He was one of Chan Yiu Chi's 4 students known as the Sei Tien Wong - Four Heavenly Kings.
