Helo my kung fu brothers, I need a lilttle help, a friend is making a gift and needs the words (mother son love balance) in caligraphy or nice writing of some sort so all help is appriecated, thank you

uhh... SPJ's character for harmony is incorrect. Should be:

和【hé】 gentle; mild; kind; harmonious; on good terms; peace

Correct!

SPJ gave the Japanese kanji for harmony.

I thought the combo, "mu zi ai he" is very strange, so I called April over and she recommended it be written as two pair recomposed as;

母 (mother)
爱 (love)

for the first couplet and

子 (son)
和 (harmony)

for the second.

for the second.That's nice, but the impression I get is: (A) Mother's love, and harmony amongst her sons.

Not sure if that is what EarthDragon's friend wants, though it is a good sentiment.

A more "standard" expression would be 母子情深 which means the deep love between mother and son.
