Freak show fight, need the circus to open this one up.

Fans of “freak show” matches everywhere have reason to celebrate, as reports have surfaced that indicate former UFC heavyweight competitor Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson , 34, is close to signing a deal with the jump-start Moosin organization that will pit the former backyard brawler against fellow cartoon character-esque fighter, and former “World’s Strongest Man” Mariusz Pudzianowski , 33, on October 9th in Chicago, Illinois.
Although many mixed martial arts fans will have very little interest in watching, let alone paying to watch, Slice and Pudzianowski fight each other, this bout will certainly attract an inordinate amount of interest from casual fans.
If this fight happens, it will likely go down in history alongside Hong Man Choi vs. Jose Canseco at Dream 9 as one of the biggest “freak show” bouts to ever take place in the sport of mixed martial arts.
Because Slice has looked tired and out of shape throughout the majority of his run inside the Octagon, in conjunction with Pudzianowski being a raw talent who has failed to impress in his first three professional bouts, this fight certainly has the potential to fail to live up to the tremendous amount of hype that will surely precede it.
