ilva is one of those guys that can probably make anythign work for him.
Why?
Because he can knock you out at any given point and people KNOW that and they fear that, which allows him to dictate the pace and as such, pretty much has his way.
He has hard hands, and feet, and knees and elbows and he can probably KO someone with a loogie too.

And if you notice Anderson is sweeping his foot more so than kicking with it. I have seen him set up some scissor takedowns with it before.

Yeah, I agree on his skill level. Goes to show though, it's the practitioner not the method. I think he could probably pull almost anything off.

That tech is usually shown as a jamming or cutting kick but it's also a hook as he's using it (usually then followed by 'treading', which in that case becomes a standing scissor).

Yeah... never much saw the use in it to be honest as a cutter or jammer. More prone to get your head knocked in. But sweeping it.... I like!!
