1.Does the type of weapon depend on the style of kung fu?

2.If so, is there any style that uses no weapons at all?

3.And you know which weapons are used in the following styles:
a. Dragon Fist kung fu
b. Seven star praying mantis
c. Lan Shou (Budda's hand / Stoping hands)

4. What's your favorit kung fu weapon and why?

Hope you can help. :)

weapons are many and varied across the styles and systems of kung fu.

the two main weapons that exist in most styles of kung fu are Broadsword (Darn Dao) and Staff (Gwun)

almost all systems have staff
some systems do not include broadsword.

other weapons such as the variety of cudgels and halbierds, axes, flexible weapons, double weapons, double bladed weapons are found in varying numbers throughout many styles and systems.

my personal favourites are Staff #1 and Butterfly Knives #2 Butterfly knives are also known as 8 cut knives in wing chun or Bhatt Jharm Do, but in Hak Fu Pai, the are called Wu dip Do, and in Hungga they have another name :D
