LOS ANGELES - Hungarian-born actress Ahna Capri, probably best known for her appearance in the Bruce Lee hit "Enter The Dragon," has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in Los Angeles. She was 65.

Her car was hit by a 5-ton truck driven by a 22-year-old female driver in North Hollywood on Aug. 9. She was placed on life support and died Aug. 19.

Born Anna Marie Nanasi on July 6, 1944 in Budapest, Hungary, she began appearing on American television as Anna Capri at age 11 on series such as "The Danny Thomas Show" and "Father Knows Best."

She made her big screen debut at age 13 in "Outlaw's Son," and continued working on such TV shows as "Police Story," "Cannon," "Mannix," "Ironside," "Adam-12," "The Mod Squad," "The Invaders," "The Wild, Wild West," "I Spy," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "Branded," "Leave It to Beaver," and "Maverick." In the 1970s she changed the spelling of her first name to Ahna because she said too many people mispronounced it.

She co-starred in the 1974 smash "Enter The Dragon" as Tania, the secretary of the villainous Han. Her other memorable film roles included the fed-up girlfriend of a country singer in "Payday" (1973); a feisty wildlife photographer in "Piranha" (1972); and an assassin in the low budget "The Specialist" (1975). She made her last film in 1979.

A longtime resident of the San Fernando Valley, she never married. She is survived by her sister Rose. Plans for a memorial service are pending.

Sad. That's another in less than a year from that cast.
She always seemed like a female character that ought to have been in Star Trek.
