Do you have any forum discussion experience like this?

After spending few months hanging around the other forum. I gave up completely. People in that forum had very strange attitude such as:

A: Can someone help me on ....?
B: You should ask your sensei.
C: Yes! You should ask your coach. Don't expect to get any valid opinion on the internet.
D: Yes! You should ask your teacher. Don't expect blind to lead blind.
E: You may try ...
B: What make you think that you are qualified to give A any suggestion?
E: ...


Do you have any similiar experience like this in other forums?

I would have to say "Yes", from the moment I arrived there and clocked in as a member. Making myself scarce as it was getting rather boring. I can just imagine how much they would appreciate bawang over there. :D

One day when someone make a comment as, "You are not even a ... Nobody care about your opinion. Why are you still hanging around here?" You will know that's the forum that I'm talking about. :D

I just think the attitude that not willing to give suggestion, and also discourage others to give suggestion is guite funny in 21th centry.

xing yi, mantis, and white crane etc

I signed on as a user

but I knew most of the forum sponsors and members.

so I really do not post anything.

just visit and read a bit now and then.

they are just happy that I am a friend and a member in their forums, even thou

I am a lurker or non poster.

posting in a forum is about quality and not quantities

I don't know that many martial arts forums. I was going to guess Empty Flower. I remember there was a big problem over there sometime ago. I actually signed in to my account for the first time in 3 years. I was surprised that my password and all that was still valid.
