Is Chi Sin Weng Chun The same as Hei Ban Wing Chun?

Are they both Red Boat styles or am I mistaken?

Chi Sim VT is the form of Weng Chun that Andreas Hoffman teaches. It does have its roots in the Red Boat Opera.

Hei Ban WCK is WCK that derives from the Opera - hence the Chinese name "Hei Ban".

The very name, Wing Chun Kuen means "Praise of the Opera Fist" - "Chun" meaning a "play" or "Opera".

The Cantonese Opera passed down from Cheung Ng still fluorishes to this day; but has become detached from WCK.
