Choy li fut is so cool
Choy li fut breaks the rules
Choy li fut ain't for...fools?
The choy li fut threads keep popping up so I figured I'd start my own. Have the choy li fut people started some kind of political movement? How many different threads are you guys going to start? Lol

Some might say that wing chun is the biggest thorn in the side of choy li fut. Had to throw it out there... :D

actually......NOPE! I've dealt with a few Wing Chun Stylists, in fact a few of my current students have studied it a little. When i show them how my lineage uses our CLF they are TOTALLY convinced and a little fearful of what CLF can do.

Hi SS,
When the tree gets old and big and has quite a few branches, it catches the wind and makes a bit of noise. :D

i had no idea the WC vs CLF thing was international
a certain sifu i know always talks about how in the 70s he was always challenged by WC practitioners and how he NEVER lost a match.
his saying in chinese is
'gwa, sau, chuun, na, chaap,
wing chun dong lap saap!"
= S
not saying i agree with that. just saying

what does that saying mean. i don't understand cantonese very well.
what does that saying mean. i don't understand cantonese very well. It's quite witty and relies on the similar sounds OF the final character of each line.
"gwa, sau, chuun, na, chaap" are I believe 5 of the 10 seed fists of CLF (though I'm not so sure about chuun).
"Wing Chun" you know.
"dong lap saap" means "treat as rubbish (lap saap)".
