the nook, kindle and ipad

if you buy the book or paper printed one, it will cost you 10 or more $ plus shipping.

if you download a kung fu book, it will cost you 1.99$ and no shipping and no handling

which is the way to go?

comments?

:D

of course

you have to buy kindle, nook or ipad first.

that would cost you 180$ to 600$

I am so used to read books on a printed paper

but this is the 21st century.

they are saying this is a revolution in publishing.

it is paperless.

so it is as big as Chinese invented paper and printing.

I like to hold, feel and touch it.
I like to put it in a bag and take it with me, in my car, on a plane, wherever.
If my pc crashes or gets messed up-I 've lost it.
I know, I'm old fashioned.
If I had my way, I'd have a cellphone with a rotary dial...

not to mention you can take a book with you easily to any crapper you happen to be needing to use. :D

iPad's not bad for that purpose and there is a direct link in it to amazon.

It costs more but you can do more with it. If you get a WiFi or 3G version you will probably not use kindle.

There are also apps available for an iPad that make it a superior product to other book readers and even pushes laptops when it comes to casual internet use like email, banking, surfing, watching movies, listening to your music, etc etc.

so, if you are of the ways and means, here I would recommend the iPad.

also, it saves a tree and gives writers direct access to publication.

We haven't found anything that we're happy with yet. Note that this would be different than KungFuMagazine.com, which publishes a lot of exclusive content, including what you see on this forum, as well as the cover stories from Kung Fu Tai Chi (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/TOCindex.php). An eBook version of the mag would be the mag itself, of which we only publish a little online.

I daresay we will have some sort of app available eventually. It's the next logical step.

I guess people still forgetting that you can view and read magazines and books from Google and for FREE. Of course not all books are there but some that you can read while you are online. The iPad thing will get better when applications will improve. I guess we need to wait until they fix glitches until then just wait.

Thanks,

Mig
