Having a small jaw might make you more prone to KOs. I don't think general overall size is in an issue, though.

I used to believe that a person has longer arm or bigger hand would win

I was in a bar recently, and I saw this big, muscular, MMA guy, but he had this little head. I mean, it was quite noticable.
Not being able to contain my curiosity, I asked him about it.
He sheepishly replied, "yeah, it's a long story...
I was running along the beach, and I noticed this woman washed up on the shore.
I ran into the surf to rescue her, and bring her to dry land.
It was then that I noticed...she was a mermaid!
She was the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on.
When she came to, she thanked me for my heroism, and said,
"I can grant you any wish you like."
I said,"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen! I would love to make love to you!"
She said that due to the fact that she is fish from the waist down, it would be impossible to grant that wish.
So I said,"Ok, then how about giving me a little head?"

in boxing we`ve seen that its the bigger heads that can take the most punishment... as far as getting hit or not, thats about head and body movement more than head size... its a fact that having a bigger head and above avergae reach makes you more likely to be a top tier fighter than if you didnt... i saw an interesting graph once with similarities between champs in mma and boxing and almost all had certain traits... head and reach were the most prominent...
