The legend tells that a woman defeated the monks using wing chun. She used speed, viscousness, and sensitivity. She has been reincarnated in this modern day woman. Behold: This is the true lineage holder of all wing chun.

Key word is "legend."

The WCK origin STORY is an ALLEGORY, not intended to be taken as fact.

Lighten up, man. This was more for comedy than anything. In all honesty I don't believe in any of those legends. I believe they were made up to push a certain point of view for example that little people can beat big people with correct training.

Girl in vid is quick! The Wing Chun story is probably fact based in the list of actual persons, probably not too much more than that. Monks did have to make a run for it from the Manchu's but whether the Nun was the only one left out of 5 GrandMasters to develop a speed-train/shortcut combat style for overthrowing the new Dynasty rulers is another thing. The Manchu's overpowered the Han with gun firepower, just as the Japanese were to accomplish later on down the road. Hand to hand combat, even "inspirational" would not have recaptured the seat of power at that time. The revolution ultimately did, backed with firearms.
