Hung Gar Yau Shu Martial Arts School is one of the main lion dance team in Melbourne. I checked out their school when I first moved to Melbourne cos I want to learn Hung Gar again.
I didn't think they are my cup of tea so i didn't stay (I'm not saying that they are not good or whatnot. Just not my cup of tea).
Recently, I came across their website (http://www.hgys.org.au/) again and tried to find out who is the teacher's sifu but nothing come up.
They don't have the vanilla Hung Gar forms like Gung Gee, Tiger and Crane or Iron Thread but they have Lee Gar Kuen (Not Lau Gar Kuen), Double Dragons Tamming Tiger...etc.
The sifu of the school told me his sifu is from Macau but didn't say anything more than that.
Any one know about this lineage of Hung Gar?
