Ping choy

All right folks and experts in both fighting and TMA. Every time I see demos or self defense explanations I see defenses against reverse punch (ping choy) or even as many Karate styles punching using pingchoy. The fights I've seen in the streets even from those who are MA practioners and in tournaments the ping choy is not even there to say the least absent. As an exercise, I think is good to practice it but in fighting who does that?

Are you saying that no one uses straight punches in real fights? :confused:

I think he's saying "no one punches and leaves their hand out at the end of the punch."
