Hi,

He is a famous Eagle Claw Grandmaster. Do a search on Ying jow Pai.

By the way, where did you get the second picture? Can you post more?

Hi ngokfei,

Thank you for the info.

I remember seeing a set of photos of Chan Tzi Ching at the Ying Jow Pai on 34th street. I remember seeing the words on paper "notice the low horse stance" amongst the photos the as encouragement for the students to get lower in their stances. I was always impressed by his framework-- very powerful.

yes I remember them. they were excerpts from the magazine.

I always ragged my sifu when he made such physical demands, like also touching ones chin to the toes in a 7 star stance.

We have to remembe that his torso and legs were the same length as similar with CZC. Shorter people make great for great photos of deep stances LOL:D

From what I remember he produced 2 and then assisted/contributor in another.

I've only seen parts of one and it pertains to the cultural aspect of training in the martial arts (ie: student teacher relationship, conditioning, healthy habits regarding food, sex, etc.

The pictures you show come from a magazine fromt he 1920's I believe and it covered the 10 roads of Walking Fist routine.

The last pic (bottom, right) is Lou Guang Yu of Qixing Tanglangquan fame.
