I think/thought that but I did not want to jump to a conclusion too early.
The way they hold their fist before punching is very WSL slt-ish.

bringing the elbow behind the fist before striking....wrist/fist x's line, elbow touches line, fire !!:D SLT is the only time we do this elbow thing.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the positive comments.

My teacher is Michael Kurth, who learned from Philipp Bayer.

I was just curious about their background. I thanked them for sharing.
Did not jump into a commentary which happens so often prematurely on this forum.

Nope. I did not want to be premature and ready with opinions where none was asked.
I am ok you are ok.

I really enjoyed that clip too, thank you.

Dug the music as well. Can I ask who it is? Quite the relationship between playing wing chun and jazz, I find.

Thanks again for all the nice comments, guys.

Wing Chun isn't that common here in France, and I started this group three years ago when I moved here from Germany, where it's hugely popular. But interest is growing, and luckily in Lille we have three clubs: one run by a student of Lo Man Kam, one by a student of Philipp Bayer, and myself.

The music is a jazz version of a tune from West Side Story, performed by the André Ceccarelli Quartet. Definitely makes for some groovin' chi sao!

Cheers,
Sean
