Anyone else familiar with this staff form?

It is the first staff form I learned but I have never before seen it performed anywhere else.

The staff itself is relatively short, should reach to the arm pit of the practitioner and is held three hand widths from the bottom.

It is a great form, simple and practical. It can also be practiced as a two man form with a few small adjustments in direction.

Another reason I like it is the way it balances each movement first on the right then repeated on the left. So often Shaolin forms favor one side or the other.

I'll try and dig up the gejue to post later.

I realize there are maybe some arguments or discrepancies regarding the name Shao Huo Gun, but that is what I was taught it as and that is how it is referenced in the video so until I am convinced otherwise I'll continue calling it that for now.

Clever movements combined with power, great set.
