Do people know that the "mantis arm" is not only used in the mantis system. It's also used in the Chinese wrestling.

Gou, lou, cai is also similar to "Monkey Dances on Clouds" in monkey boxing. It was what first interested me in the similarities between our Nu Hou Quan and mantis boxing. Thus began the adventure! :)

That's pretty awesome! Have you heard of Grandmaster Chang meeting with Wei Xiao Tang? There seems to be a much heavier shuai influence on 8-step.

I noticed the book mentions Tang Lang Shou. Is this in reference to the mantis hook hand? The illustration #1 looks like he's doing shuang diao shou.

In Shuai Jiao/Chan Chiao, Is the technique a clinch control? or a fluid transition to a a specific throw?

Greetings Family. It is well-known that most early masters knew/aware of each other;such as liu yun chiao of the famed wu-tang kwoons. also master chang tung sheng, master han tang of the chin-naa fame and many others. All these masters were known on the mainland of so-called red china. best regards.NM.
