The article clearly stated they were not arrested for "being in debt". They were arrested for either not making court ordered payments or not showing up for court dates. Those are crimes, while "being in debt" is not a crime.

And you have some audacity for asking other people to apologize for being wrong. You still can't admit you were wrong when you said the Federal Reserve is a private corporation.

Pay your bills and keep in contact with those you owe. If they take you to court and you don't show up or contact someone the police will arrest you. They will show up drag you out of your home and leave your kids with the person you just met and hardly know. I was with my girlfriend of the time we had just met the cops hauled her away without saying anything to me because they were afraid I would cause an issue. I barely knew her and they left her kids with me didn't take the time to even say they were taking her. She had just stepped out for a smoke then she kicked the door open thats the only way I knew what was going on. Kids crying no explanation she had missed a court date.
