I will not post here until.....

For me it is until I have done four good hours of training. I did that today. I'm still doing that.

Its important to stick to this or else you might turn into a David Ross or a Sifu Abel. All internet talk and deteriorated skill.

This way people will also report on what they learned from practicing rather than speculating based on once upon a time when they actually trained.

Oh sorry - was everyone supposed to suddenly become your student and do what you say?

You know what, one minute thinking can be worth five years of four hours a day training.

This place is filled with wannabees.

You won't make your goals public because they interfere with jerking off to computer porn and not training.

more excuses from the lazy and incapable.

Maybe the reason you don't like MMA is that they actually have to exercise.

I love how they say this **** without irony.

"No one here trains enough, everybody spends too much time on the internet."

Says the guy with 6 posts on the same thread.

Or 8 replies on the same thread from two seperate accounts;

"I'm too busy training to pay attention to haters."

Why so angry?

You haven't done your training yet? Look at the bio of any real kung fu master. 4 hours a day was minimum.

Most of you will be losers who don't train and get old...then claim you were doing martial arts for 50 years. Complete lies.

I will post all I want, I have kept my commitments and my training.

Ross is a double fool, he talks about a monkey with a gun when his avatar is an ape. Further proof of how dumb you can get if you allow yourself to get lazy. That is why he has always been fat.

An attitude of "I'm gonna be a master, but everyone else is a loser!" Is the wrong attitude. It starts from your own sense of inferiority. I say inferiority because a truly confident person does not need to repeatedly ridicule EVERYONE who does not live up to their limited standards.

Training time alone does not make one a master. One must have intelligence, maturity, understanding, and depth of knowledge.

Commitment alone will not make you a master. Start now rounding yourself out as a person, because if you don't you'll never make it.

I would start by defining just what being a master means to you! Think about it carefully and then post it here for us all.

Look at your post count.

If you had actually practiced instead of pretending to be your Shifu you might have actually been up to par or surpassed him.

You wasted your time and your life. Follow Ross if you want to end up as empty.

Follow the kung fu masters you say you look up to by actually training.

Thanks yoda but reality is that you have to train. I know where I am weak and that is why I train.....why aren't you? Why don't people on this forum?

Most are ignorant of basic things that would be self evident if they had ever put in the time and effort.

fine...you are superior and right in your quest to do nothing and pretend to be the "kung fu" guy to your circle of friends.

Not only is your attitude infantile, you will not become a master if you are only training 4 hours a day. Try 8 hours a day MINIMUM!

So, before you continue to ridicule everyone you don't know and label everyone a loser, get your own house in order!

Post less, and train more!

[QUOTETry 8 hours a day MINIMUM!

So that is your commitment. Good.

Mine is four, yours is eight. After this, I'm sure your posts will have more to offer.

You have completely missed the point! It is good you have a goal, but you will NEVER become a master training only 4 hours a day! 4 hours is just the beginning, the training of basics!

You will waste your life thinking your 4 hours a day will get you somewhere, but you will fall short in the end, because your ego has not allowed you to be realistic. Which is why I mentioned, intelligence, maturity, knowledge and understanding. Without these you will not accomplish your goals.

And I haven't even mentioned effective training protocols, diet, sleep, training recovery protocols and injury prevention, treatment and recovery protocols!

And the responsibilities of everyday life, such as wife, children, job, household maintenance, etc.

You have goals, that is good, but you are unrealistic and yet seek to impose your immature goals on others who are older and wiser than you are, and at the rate you are going, wiser than you will ever be, unless you change your attitude!

Then shut up about how everyone is a lazy a$$ but you!

Your attitude gets attacked because you are an A$$hole and for no other reason! You would find people encouraging you and being helpful if you didn't behave like a 12 year old!

You are no more special than anyone else, no matter how much you try to convince yourself you are!

4hrs a day seems like enough to me. Just the same, the dude keeps being defensive about comments that could subjectively be brushed off, and it doesn't help to make blanket statements about a bunch of people one doesn't know, at all.

I agree, 4 hours is enough to be above average, but it is not enough to be exceptional!:)
