Well, how many other moderators are there here?

There's MK, RTB, Me and Gene and probably a couple of others have access in Gene's office but they are owners so they may do as they please.

Overall, throughout the forums, there are several moderators.

I think the general tone of disrespect towards the idea of Chinese Masters may not have been taken well by some. You know, painting them as little old frauds and such.

On the other hand, I think most people here know that there are a lot of paper tigers filling funny costumes.
People are human. Just because they have all the officialities and such, does not mean they are not full of flaws.

I have seen some really good Chinese masters (Wai Lun Choi for example), but like everyone else, I have also seen a lot who are skating by on thier image, as well as every level in between.

Just because you learn something from someone, does not mean you have to be locked into thier limitations, whatever they may be. If you dig beyond your teacher, you often find stuff he either completely missed, or never learned.

so I learned some basic methods of tai zu long fist from guo shu curriculum

then I also learned a different format from cang zhou.

then I found out there is southern one, too.

then I got confused. there are many people just named their stuff after tai zu, it could be song tai zu or ming tai zu or just tai zu

then I gave up

I still knew guo shu guan tai zu and cang zhou tai zu (one of many)

Actually, good question. NO, it is not the medical profession's.
That would be the Rod of Asclepius which is a simple rod with one snake coiled around it.

The dual snakes/rod/wings is Hermes' Rod and represents commerce.

This is probably why it is mistaken because doctors cost so much. lol

The rod of Hermes is simply known as a caduceus now.
